The No Limit Divas (NLD) Motorcycle Club, a non-profit organization, was founded in April 1999, in Southern Maryland.   Some of the founding members: Crystal Bush “Quiet Storm” and Laryssa Somerville “Kryptonite”, are still active members today.  Sharing a common passion of riding, these women decided to form an all female motorcycle club within the Southern Maryland community. 

NLD is a group of independent women who demonstrate diverse professions in the business world.  NLD maintains an active riding schedule during riding season with monthly rides.  NLD participates in many motorcycle activities generally along the east coast.  NLD also sponsors several motorcycle activities throughout the year with some annual functions (i.e. Bike/Car Show).  Finally, NLD strongly believes in giving something back to the community by participating in fundraisers for local families and for local charities.

The name “Diva” has Indo-European roots which mean Sky, Heaven and Moon God  ~ one that shines, one who is fortunate, blessed and divine; which leads us to the Hindu derivative of heavenly brilliant.  We No Limit Divas being heavenly brilliant divine ones, strive to shine with no limits!

NLD’s logo was redesigned and copyrighted in May 2002.  It symbolizes unity and sisterhood among lady riders.

NLD’s colors are red, yellow and black.  Red represents the power and speed combined with confidence and a dash of danger that the NLD exhibits.  Yellow represents the highly visible, cheerful companionship maintained by the NLD members; and the display and possession of courageous and peaceful attitudes.  Black represents the serious, conventional yet mysterious, sexy and sophisticated ladies of elegance confined within the NLD vests.

NLD does not discriminate nor does it involve itself in personal or political issues.  Thus, members are free to engage in other activities at their own discretion.

Goal

            The goal of NLD is to display a respectable image, practicing motorcycle safety while encouraging other women to ride and do the same.
